About 6 years old, this striking reddish/brown tabby cat is very sweet but independent - not a lap cat. this 10-pound beauty purrs loudly and loves being pet on the neck and belly. A very relaxed cat, Opal enjoys a good catnap and with her long legs, she is also a big jumper. Opal is up to date with vet exams and vaccinations, in good health and spayed. A family with children 8 years old and up will be fine for her. She resides in her current owner's home with Julie, also listed for adoption, but has not been exposed to other cats or dogs. Her current owner's life is undergoing significant changes, which requires that she regretfully find a new home for Opal.
