This is Plato, a 9-year-old abandoned sweetheart. He was found while trapping kittens in the yard of an elderly woman in Mt. Vernon, NY. She pointed to this guy and said that he was put out about a year ago. He looked pretty street-worn, and dirty, and we could see that he was not feral. We didn't want to leave him. Since then he has been fully vetted. He enjoys humans and will hop on the lap of a stranger for petting. He's not overly mushy, but enjoys getting and giving attention. This big boy deserves a break, and to be in a home again. He is FIV+ and FELV-. Handsome Plato simply can not go back to street life. He'd be very grateful to be in a home again with a new family!
