Mendel is a lovely tortie kitty, approx. 1 year old - hardly more than a kitten. Her current owner describes her as a very social cat, wanting to be near the adults in the household and sit on their laps. They adopted Mendel from a neighbor who discovered that this striking tortie did not get along with their other cats. But her new family has learned that Mendel is also not happy with a toddler in the household. Mendel will do best in a home with a single adult, couple or family with teenage children, who can enjoy her company and provide her with the attention and devotion she seeks. Mendel is spayed, up to date with all vaccinations, and micro-chipped. To meet this special cat, please contact Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org or 914/924-0283. If you like torties, Mendel is one to meet. (12-12-18)
