Kouun is a very special brown tabby cat, only about 1 year old, with beautiful tabby markings. Found on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY, she's had a rough go of it. She was ill, very pregnant and only weighed 6 lbs. With excellent vet care, Kouun has recovered nicely and is now spayed and up to date with vaccinations. In follow-up vet appointments diabetes was detected for which Kouun currently is receiving treatment. The diabetes may be reversible (and was possibly caused by stress), but it hasn't been long enough for the vet to make a determination yet. Kouun is a sweet cat who enjoys her naps and stretching out across entire beds/couches. She is very comfortable in her new temporary home but requires an owner who can commit to her diabetes treatment. To learn more about Kouun, please contact Natalie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
