Barry's story shows how good things can come out of bad situations. Barry and his brother were abandoned behind a housing project. They would walk over to a shed every day where food could sometimes be found. One day Barry was limping, and only using 3 legs. He had been hiding for weeks. When we saw the rail-thin tabby we quickly picked him up and brought him to the vet. His front paw was broken. He must have been suffering. Fast forward, and there is now a sweet, gentle and very affectionate cat for adoption! Barry is about 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FELV. Barry will always have a limp, but he gets along just fine! He is a couch-potato and loves to cuddle. He doesn't ask for much. He is fine with other cats, but would be perfectly happy as an only pet.
