She's truly a dog for all seasons—whether she's splashing in the pool on a hot summer day, jumping through colorful autumn leaves, or romping through fresh snow, Mila is happiest when she's outside enjoying life with her favorite people.
Once Mila gets to know you, her sweet personality shines. She loves giving kisses, leaning in for hugs, and spending time with the people she trusts. Her bond with her volunteer family is incredibly strong, and she'll reward your patience and love with lifelong loyalty.
Mila's journey has been a little longer than most. After being adopted as a puppy, she unexpectedly found herself back at the shelter three months later. Rather than giving up on her, our staff and dedicated volunteers have spent the past two years helping Mila build her confidence, strengthen her training, and prepare for the forever home she truly deserves. We know her well, and we've watched her grow into an affectionate, playful, and devoted companion.
Mila is looking for an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner who will continue building on the foundation she's already developed. A securely fenced yard is a must, giving her plenty of room to play fetch, splash in the pool, and enjoy the outdoors she loves so much. Mila tends to bond more quickly with women, but with patience, consistency, and trust, she forms incredibly strong, lifelong relationships.
