Meet Taz...a handsome 12-year-old poodle mix. At 12 years young and 16 pounds, Taz is proof that age is just a number. This sweet poodle mix is an easygoing, well-mannered gentleman who brings quiet companionship wherever he goes. Taz is completely housebroken and has impeccable manners around the home. He's not a barker and is content to relax nearby, making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a calm, peaceful environment. He loves being close to his person, happily following his foster from room to room without ever being underfoot. At bedtime, he settles quietly into his own bed in the bedroom and sleeps soundly through the night. Taz is a pleasure on walks. He strolls politely on leash without pulling and is thoughtful enough to wait for his foster mom before going up the stairs together. His gentle nature and excellent leash manners make every outing enjoyable. Taz is a bright little guy who loves puzzle toys and enjoys using his brain. He has a healthy appetite and especially loves fresh fruit as a snack, along with dog treats and the occasional bit of cheese. Taz is affectionate and loves tummy rubs, but he's also an independent little gentleman who prefers to choose when he's ready for pets or cuddles. Taz would be happiest in a quiet home without small children, where he can enjoy the peaceful lifestyle he loves. This charming senior has so much love to give and is ready to spend his golden years with someone who will appreciate what a truly wonderful companion he is.
