Palmer is a handsome three-year-old with the kind of gentle, attentive presence that makes him a pleasure to have around. He is smart, responsive, and genuinely good company. He is housebroken, well-mannered, and already solid on “sit” and “paw,” with plenty more potential. He walks nicely on leash, does well with other dogs, and thrives in a home with structure and calm leadership. Palmer takes comfort in having his own space - his crate is his retreat, and he’ll often settle there with the door open, keeping a quiet eye on things. He’s not a velcro dog; he checks in on his own terms — a lean, some petting, maybe a belly rub — and then goes back to doing his thing. It’s understated, but it’s his way of saying you’re his person. He would do best in a home that values calm over chaos — someone who appreciates a thoughtful dog and knows that the best things (and the best dogs) are worth a little patience.
