Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Luca...

Luca is a 3-month old male lab mix puppy and a true bundle of joyful energy!  He has a sweet and loving nature and a sense of playful mischievousness, making him the ideal companion for an attentive and active family.  He's 26 lbs. now and likes to think of himself as a cuddly lapdog.  Luca is still learning basic puppy manners and is very clever.  He is working on his house training too!  Luca loves his squeaky toys, is super sociable and always ready for a good tummy rub.  He is crate trained for short periods of time, but happily sleeps in his doggie bed all night long.  Luca is a true charmer!
