Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Dillon...

Dillon is a 12-week old,10 pound male Chihuahua mix puppy.  He is very relaxed and independent.  He naps in his crate and even sleeps in his crate through the night!  Dillon is teething and likes to chew on his toys. He has a healthy appetite and will eat all of his meal and drink lots of water. He also earns treats because he is such a good puppy.  Dillon is a smart, obedient boy. He is doing well in his potty training, and follows directions easily when it’s time to go out. He’s made good progress in such a short time.   Dillon is a very friendly, playful and cuddly puppy, with the right temperament and energy level. Dillon loves the snow and doesn’t mind the cold temperature. He loves to explore outside and sniff around.  Dillon will make a great addition to any family!
