Phoebe is a sweet and healthy six-year-old lab mix who loves a good snuggle. She is a bit shy but warms up quickly. She is house trained, walks well on a leash, and has the softest fur. Phoebe is very good with kids and does well with dogs. She enjoys day care, dog parks, and is good in the car. Phoebe is a smart gal, and needs attention and mental stimulation. She enjoys toys, but she loves to do tricks. She can...sit, leave it, lie down, crawl, touch, walk (takes a few steps on her hind legs), high five (her left paw), shake (her right paw), spin (walk in a circle), and twist (walk in a circle in the other direction). She plays fetch (inside), knows her name, is very food motivated, and loves treats and peanut butter. Phoebe will do best in a home that can give her the attention she needs and ideally one with a fenced in yard where she can run around. Phoebe does take her job at the window seriously and will bark at the mailman, people or dogs walking down the street. Phoebe is a kind, sweet and loving dog once she feels comfortable, and will make a great companion.
