Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Willow...

How can you resist those eyes?  Willow is the sweetest girl.  She is a gentle one year old who is a little shy at first.  Willow gets along well with all dogs, and should be placed in a home that already has a dog. Willow is gentle and loves playing with puppies. She loves tussling with her canine foster buddies, and really comes alive at playtime. She is housebroken and eats and sleeps in her crate. Willow loves the attention of humans, and will come and cuddle next to you. Willow will do best in a home with a fenced in yard, that has had experience with shy dogs.   She will thrive in a calm environment, with older children. One look at those big brown puppy eyes, and your heart will melt. Willow has been living in a foster home with her best friend Asher, and that's where their romance started. Introverted at the kennel, they have blossomed and formed a beautiful bond—playing together, sharing their toys, cuddling on a shared bed and grooming each other. Maybe, just maybe we can find them a home together! Please share their love story. They are housebroken and would do well in a calm home with a fenced in yard. In some ways, having two dogs is easier than one because the keep each other company. #twiceasnice, #bettertogether.
