Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Pintito & Mimi...

Pintito and his Mom Mimi arrived together at Petrescue.  Pintito is about 2 years old and is a friendly, happy boy. Both dogs get along with all the other dogs in their foster mom's home.  They are quiet dogs, not barkers, and love to play with toys.  They are an obedient pair, who never turn down treats, learn quickly, and are working on potty training. Mimi is about 5 years old, is a little more reserved, and often takes her cue from Pintito. We would like their forever home to open up their hearts and adopt both dogs, so they can continue the nurturing relationship they so enjoy.

Our mission is to aid homeless, abandoned and neglected cats and dogs, to nurture them in the foster care of volunteers, to provide veterinary care and socialization, and to place them in permanent loving and responsible homes.
