Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

Ivory is a low maintenance, demure, sweet, gentle girl.  Ivory loves attention...She bonds quickly with her human and will lean in for pets, and touch your hand if you stop too soon, or roll over for a belly rub. She is open to meeting new people, is housebroken, plays nicely at the dog park...and is friendly with  dogs her size.  Ivory loves long walks and riding in the car. comes from a home where she lived with a canine buddy. She is also OK with cats. Ivory will thrive in a quiet home with no small children.  If you are looking for a forever friend, your search is over. You have found the most delicious companion!
