Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Hazel...

Meet Hazel, an adorable little black-and-white Shih Tzu mix!  At approximately 4 years old, she’s the perfect combination of sweet, playful, and easygoing. Found as a stray, she’s now ready to leave her uncertain past behind and find a loving family of her own. She has a wonderful personality, friendly, affectionate, and even-tempered, with a playful side that makes her a joy to be around. And just when you think she couldn’t get any cuter, she flashes her smile!…that adorable underbite that gives her the sweetest, most endearing expression.This lovable girl is ready for a second chance and a forever home where she can be cherished for the wonderful companion she is. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
