Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Milo...

Milo arrived at Petrescue with his brothers Theo, and Remy. Milo is an adorable 3–4 month old Beagle puppy! He has recently found his voice and isn’t afraid to use it when something doesn’t feel quite right. He’s still building confidence, especially when meeting new people or walking in his harness. Despite his shy moments, Milo is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. When you hold him, he melts into you and rests his head on your shoulder. He loves being close to his people and will happily follow you all around the yard. The second you sit down, he’s ready to jump into your lap or ask for affection. Milo is respectful of foster’s little dog. Underneath his uncertainty is a gentle, affectionate companion who just wants to feel safe and loved. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
