Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Diego...

Hi my name is Diego. I am about 3 years old and 30 pounds. I came to New York from the Korean Meat Market. I am a little nervous when first meeting new people, but in time I warm up. I like being around other dogs that like to run around and play. I’m in a foster home now and my foster mom said that I’m just fantastic. I come around looking for ear scratches and love to go for walks with my human siblings. I also live with a very large Pitbull named Captain and don’t tell anyone, but we are attached at the hip. I should not go to a home with small children, as initially I need to be approached slowly. I’m looking for my forever home, could that be you?
