Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Ella...

Little Miss Ella is pure pug perfection.  Ella is an 7 year old black pug with round sparkling eyes…and she is bursting with joy and love. Ella greets everyone with exuberance and the cutest little wiggle. Give her soft fur a little scratch behind the ear or on her back and you have a friend for life. Ella loves being wherever her people are. She will happily scurry around the house with you or trot alongside you on a stroll. Her foster mom says "This spunky pup puts a smile on our faces each day”... and she is adjusting to new routines and settling in nicely at her foster home. Ella is friendly and playful with kids and other dogs. With her soft black coat, expressive face, and friendly spirit, Ella brings warmth and happiness wherever she goes. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
