Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

Meet Dakota, a bright, alert little companion! At 11 months old and 18 pounds, she’s the perfect size for both snuggles and adventures. With her attentive expression, she’s always tuned in to what’s going on around her...curious, smart, and ready to engage. Dakota is up to date on vaccines and already spayed, so she’s all set to transition smoothly into her new home. Still young, she has that fun puppy energy but is maturing into a loyal, affectionate companion. Dakota enjoys being close to her people. If you’re looking for a small, lively dog with a big personality and lots of love to give, Dakota might be your perfect match. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
