Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Shadow...

Meet Shadow! This sweet 3-year-old Lab mix is 70 pounds of pure love. She's the quiet, gentle type...no drama, just cuddles. Her favorite move? Leaning her whole body into yours while you're standing together, like she's trying to become one with you. Shadow is car-ready before you are... the second that door opens, she's buckled in and waiting. Road trips? She's down. Shadow loves meeting new people. She's the kind of dog who makes everyone feel like her new best friend. Shadow prefers to be the star of the show, and does best as your one and only pup. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to you, Shadow is your girl. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
