Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Lilly Beth...

Meet Lilly Beth, Love Bug Extraordinaire!  This charming 12-year-old terrier mix has spent over a decade perfecting the art of being absolutely irresistible. She’s quiet and loves to couch surf, and also likes to hang out next to you, but not on you. This little sweetheart has lots of love to give.  She will win your heart in approximately 30 seconds flat. Lilly Beth does little pip barks when she wants to go out, and she even knocks on the door when she wants to come back in...and bigger barks when she wants to eat…and she’s a great eater.  Lilly Beth is not crazy about long walks, but wants to do her business quickly and come back in. She has no issues with other dogs in any way, and loves all people. She doesn’t like to be confined, but is wee pad trained, so if you are out for a bit, she is non destructive so crates and gates are unnecessary. Lilly Beth is the perfect companion for anyone who believes there's no such thing as too many hugs.  Senior? Sure. But mostly just seasoned in sweetness. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
