Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Eleanor...

Eleanor is a sweet little lovebug searching for her perfect person. This affectionate girl adores leisurely walks and also enjoys couch cuddle sessions with her human. You'll often find her contentedly playing with her favorite stuffed toy. Eleanor is housebroken and is an excellent listener who picks up routines quickly. She's a well mannered girl who sleeps peacefully through the night and gets along with other dogs. Eleanor takes her time when meeting new people. She thrives in a calm predictable environment, shows a  preference for women, and will do best as a one-person dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Eleanor might be your perfect match. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
