Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

Meet Buddy... A gentle soul seeking companionship. This sweet 15-year-old gentleman is the definition of a perfect companion. With his calm, easygoing nature and friendly disposition, he gets along beautifully with everyone...people and pups alike, and is fully housebroken. What he loves most is simply being near you. Whether you're reading, watching TV, or going about your day, he'll be contentedly by your side. He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around much of the time, or where there's another pet to keep him company. If you're looking for a loving, low-key companion who will fill your days with gentle affection and unwavering loyalty, this special senior is ready to steal your heart. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
