Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Donner...

Donner is a strikingly handsome pup, with a gentle, earnest expression. Donner is probably a Catahoula Leopard dog mix...deep black/ brown on his face, white chest and deep brown coat. He is comfortable in his foster home with his older canine buddy and is friendly to family members and other dogs. Donner is house trained and comfortably sleeps in his crate during the night, he even sometimes chooses to nap there during the day with the door open. Donner enjoys his toys and is patient and receptive to new people. He will be a great addition to his forever family.  Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
