Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About ZZ Gemma-Courtesy Listing...

What a pretty ‘lil lady! Say hello to Gemma, a 9-year old, 49-pound Beagle mix, sporting a happy-go-lucky disposition to match her adorably smiling face. Easy-going with other dogs and friendly toward humans, Gemma is an overall calm and confident dog who doesn’t look for drama or trouble. She enjoys greeting pups while out and about, and doesn’t fear unfamiliar faces. Gemma is good on a leash, she loves being outside, and if you allow her time to sniff things, she’s beyond thrilled.
Gemma is 100% housebroken and is well-behaved inside the home. Being the sophisticated lady that she is, Gemma prefers doing her business on grassy areas as opposed to cement or dirt. Hey, she likes to keep her paws fresh and clean! Intelligent and eager to please, Gemma responds to a host of commands, including sit, come, stay and lie down. And being a foodie doesn’t hurt. Show this girl a treat and you’ve got her undivided attention! When Gemma is chilling at home, she’s pretty much a couch potato who likes being pet, taking naps, or relaxing with you while you work or watch TV. But don’t let her age fool you. As mellow as she is, show Gemma her leash and she’s ready to get up and go! The best of both worlds!
This sweet angel is easy to look at, easy to care for, and most importantly, easy to love. Yeah, she sure is something special!
