Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Yaki...

Meet Yaki! With bright eyes that seem to take in everything around him, he has a curiosity that makes you smile. Whether it’s getting pets from his favorite humans or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, he enjoys affection and human connection. At 15 pounds, he is the ideal size for being scooped up and being held…Yaki’s favorite position.  Yaki has reached that perfect age where puppy energy has mellowed, yet he maintains that spark that makes interaction a delight. If you are interested in meeting Yaki, be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11;30-1:30.
