Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Remi...

Remi is a sweet, friendly, and playful Dachshund mix, about 2 years old. She has a lot of typical puppy energy. She likes chasing balls, and walks nicely on the leash, but then will cuddle up with you on the couch for a nap. Remi is house trained and sleeps through the night in her crate, and also travels comfortably in her crate. She seems to know the “sit” command and has pretty good recall when outside in the yard. Remi gets along with her foster canine buddy. She really loves mealtime. She likes being near her foster mom, but will sometimes decide to nap in a different room. Stairs are a bit of a challenge… She’ll go up, but down?…not yet. Remi is a typical sassy Dachshund…a happy dog with a waggy tail. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
