Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Jinx...

Jinx is a handsome Chihuahua/Pomeranian Mix and is a young friendly, playful boy. He is cautious at first, but once he trusts you he will be your friend. He sleeps quietly overnight and is potty trained. Jinx walks well on a leash, enjoys the outdoors, loves other dogs, including big dogs, and loves his toys. Some of his favorite things are getting his chin and chest rubbed and giving kisses. Jinx is a smart guy and is learning his commands... He has mastered "sit". He is a very sweet boy who will do best in a home with adults and older kids. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
