Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Keaton...

Keaton is a stunning boy ... still very much a puppy but also calm and gentle. He is very loving and seeks out affection. He enjoys playtime with his foster siblings and loves running around freely in his fenced yard. He loves toys and will fetch a ball. He enjoys a few minutes of cuddling before sleep time, then rests quietly on his bed and stays there all night without issue. He is cautious of new places, like the vet's office, but prefers hiding behind his comfort person to any other reaction. He rides quietly in the car, is crate trained and house trained too. He walks well on leash with both a harness and collar. He does well with all dogs, especially if they are playful. He needs to gain a couple of lbs but we are working on that. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
