Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About McKenna...

McKenna is an adorable spaniel mix puppy, about 5 months old and 18 lbs. She is super sweet, loves to play with toys and also loves cuddles on the couch and belly rubs. She is a smart girl and food motivated, which helps with training. McKenna has learned to “sit" and “stay”, is doing well on potty training, and is doing nicely when walking on the leash. Her foster mom says that she sleeps in her crate at night and will wonder in and out of it during the day, as the door is left open. McKenna is dog and people friendly and a total delight. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
