Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Sweet Pea...

Sweet Pea is such a pretty beagle/hound mix, and her personality reflects this.  She is about 6 years old and 29 lbs…a petite dog with big dog energy. Her foster mom says that she LOVES her walks and can go the distance. She eagerly walks 2-3 miles a day, and prefers to explore more quiet streets. Sweet Pea happily greets approaching dogs and people, her tail wagging.  She is a quiet girl, a little different than most beagles. She is incredibly quiet- in her crate, roaming the house and on her leash. . But she can also be silly and frisky and is clearly ready to receive love and affection.  Sweet Pea will do well in a home with children, and the lucky family that welcomes this cutie will be rewarded ten-fold with her full heart. Sweet Pea is truly a sweetie.  Be sure to complete an application online and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30 - 1:30.
