Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Rudolph...

Rudolph, Dasher and Comet arrived at Petrescue just in time for Christmas...and what a welcome addition they are, each with their individual personality. Rudolph is the sweetest guy!...and like his namesake, really does have a RED nose! He may be a little shy at first but once he warms up he just wants to be cuddled all day long. While a tiny bit more shy with new people, he loves dogs and was the first to come up and play with his big foster brother. He’s doing very well with his potty training. He has been using pee pads exclusively, but will adjust to going outside quickly. He’s learned to use his voice, but is mostly a quiet boy. He’s also a great eater! Be sure to complete an application on line.
