Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About ZZ Remi-Courtesy Listing...

Remi is a beautiful 5 year old, 60 lb American Staffordshire Terrier/Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix. She has lived with the same family since she was a pup. Remi loves all people immediately…adults and kids. She gets along with dogs her size or bigger but is not a fan of smaller animals or pets. She is spayed, fully house trained and crate trained.  She is a smart girl who knows her basic commands well.  Remi loves her toys and loves playing fetch. She is respectful of property, and enjoys watching TV with her family. Remi walks nicely on the leash, but may pull when around other animals, so a firm hand from an adult/older teenager is best.
