Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Richie...

If you've been looking for the companionship of a wonderful pet, and understand that age is no barrier to love, we'd like to introduce you to Richie. This gentleman is as sweet as he is handsome! Richie is quiet but far from shy… He loves people and other dogs and “wags” his whole body when meeting both. Richie is 100% house trained and loves to go to the park every day. He also enjoys time in his fenced in yard playing with his chihuahua foster canine house mates. Richie loves leash walks and never pulls, but keeps a brisk pace. He is a true treasure and will be a wonderful addition to his new home!  Richie requires meds twice daily, but lives a happy, healthy, life.  Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
