Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Lucky...

Lucky has earned his name. He was rescued from a difficult situation where he did not get the care and love he needed, but he is a true survivor! His foster mom says he has come so far in gaining confidence. He is a quiet, calm and gentle guy.  He loves being with his human but also loves being with another dog, from whom he can learn.  For that reason,he will benefit from having a canine buddy in his forever home. He is housebroken, loves trotting around the yard with his foster canine buddy, and enjoys a snooze in his bed. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is fine being handled and carried and is quick to trust people. Lucky is a special dog with an overload of great qualities.  Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
