Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Taco...

Meet Taco! He is the most adorable, snuggly & loving chihuahua ever! He is playful with other dogs and people and seems comfortable around cats. His large brown eyes & big ears will captivate you. He is wee wee pad trained and loves going for walks, as much as he loves car rides. Taco is an easy going chihuahua that loves to be cuddled! He is great on the leash and is good with other dogs. He may take some warming up but he will never leave your side once he gets to know you! One of his favorite places is his bed...his favorite food is chicken, and his favorite toys are small squeaky plush toys! His favorite thing is to be picked up, hugged and petted on the head  To quote Taco's foster parents… “We love Taco & know he will brighten up anyone’s world!" Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
