Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About ZZ Ranger and Summer...

That’s what you will have if you adopt Summer and Ranger!
SUMMER and RANGER are two of three puppies rescued in the Bronx after having been thrown from a U Haul truck at the entrance of Orchard Beach. They are fully vetted, microchipped, wee wee pad trained and transitioning to going outside.
These two are great with dogs, love each other and would thrive in a home either together or with another dog. They both are under 10 lbs...Tons of fun but not over the top. They are healthy, well adjusted and ready for a forever home. It is my hope to find a family with a house and fully fenced yard.
