Roxy is a beautiful 2.5 year old lab mix. She is an intelligent and energetic companion who thrives on activity and mental stimulation. Roxy currently attends a doggy daycare with a select group of dogs, so is sociable with some dogs. Roxy is very food-motivated, which makes her highly trainable. She's always eager to learn new tricks and commands. Roxy loves long walks and enjoys bike rides even more. If you're an active person looking for a companion to join you on your outdoor adventures, Roxy is your girl! She also has stellar leash manners and no reactivity to other dogs on walks unless they greet her directly on leash. She will walk past reactive dogs almost always. She is also not much of a barker only during play or occasionally for an outside noise. Roxy currently lives with 2 adults, 2 young children (ages 4 and 2), and 2 cats. She has shown no food aggression/guarding of toys and is good at adapting to her environment. While she is dog-selective, she can be redirected from cats and eventually comes to ignore them. Due to recent changes in our circumstances, we can no longer provide the home Roxy needs to thrive. We want to ensure she gets the best chance at a great life with a family that can cater to her needs and appreciate her wonderful qualities. An ideal home for Roxy is one with an individual who is active and loves outdoor activities ....A family with older children may also be suitable...Someone who is patient and willing to continue her training... A home with no other dogs or with dogs that are compatible with Roxy's personality. Ideally a home where she can be gradually introduced to other pets if any. Roxy has always been part of a loving family, and they are heartbroken to part with her, but are committed to finding her a loving home where she can continue to be happy and healthy. If you believe you can provide Roxy with a loving, forever home, please reach out to us. Lindsay Lopez - 917-306-6997, lindsaymlopez1@gmail.com, Raymond Lopez - 646-510-2176, raymondlopez@gmail.com
