Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Barbie...

This pretty girl is one of our new arrivals and everyone has fallen love with her. Barbie is a “leaner”, in that she leans against you to show you love…and a cuddler. She is calm and even tempered. She has been at Petrescue a short while, and has shown us that she knows the “sit” and “paw” command. She loves treats, and will take them so gently.  She is a respectful companion in the home, friendly with dogs of all sizes, good with kids and even cats! Barbie has already charmed the staff and guests at Petrescue. She is a delicious girl…absolute perfection! As with any husky, a secured fenced yard is most helpful. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
