Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About ZZ Flower-Courtesy Listing...

Flower is a super sweet 7 month old, 30 pound puppy…will you help her bloom? Flower has had a difficult beginning, in that she was found alone and injured, with no one to care for her. A wonderful good samaritan, animal lover rescued Flower and saved her life. She had injuries in many parts of her body. The trauma to her leg was so severe that her leg could not be saved, but that hasn’t stopped Flower one bit. It’s been a few months since surgery, and she has made a fabulous recovery.  She is fully vaccinated and can run around again and play with dog and human friends. Flower loves other dogs and even cats…and she likes nothing more than cuddles and being around her humans. This girl is sure to reward her lucky forever family with a lifetime of loyal companionship.
