Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Max...

Max is playful, enthusiastic, friendly, and loyal. He loves nothing more than to curl up at your feet or follow you around the house. Max is housebroken, leash and crate trained. He is a fantastic jogging and hiking companion, and even wears a hiking backpack happily. Indoors, he’s calm and cuddly; outside, he loves investigating the yard, looking for bunnies and chipmunks. Max is very people-oriented and social, and is immediately adored by everyone who comes to his foster's home. He’s known a lot of love in his life. He has happily lived with another dog, and enjoys instigating tag and "keep away" with his dog brother. Max's forever home should be one without young children. He loves the company and energy of older children, but finds toddlers a little too exciting. The luckiest family is the one that brings Max home with them. He will truly be your very best friend!
