Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Murray...

Murray is a wonderful dog... pretty adorable, happy and curious. He likes people and attention and loves to be petted. Unfortunately due to recent job and life changes, Murray’s family is unable to continue to care for him and he is looking for a new forever home.  Murray is current with all of his vaccines as well as his HeartGard and NexGard pills. He is perfectly house-broken, kennel-trained and socializes very well with other dogs. He is playful and an excellent fetcher and frisbee catcher, and he walks well. Murray has good house manners, and does not jump on furniture and sleeps straight through the night in his dog bed in his mom and dad’s room. He also travels well in a car.  Murray has been well trained. He is a smart dude and a good student. He has been taking obedience lessons since last fall, and has been going to doggy daycare for 3 days a week. He is still a puppy, and wants to play with every rabbit or squirrel he meets.  He is a good walker, and enjoys other dogs. He is used to running and playing in a fenced in back yard where he loves to fetch a tennis ball or a frisbee. He is young, strong and energetic but as long as he gets a good walk in and some exercise at the beginning of the day he is generally happy to relax and lounge later. With all his training, and all around good nature, Murray will make a wonderful dog for a full time family.
