Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Uny...

Uny is a pup with a lush golden coat, and searching brown eyes. She is a social, affectionate, very active, playful dog. She would have loved to relocate with her family, but they were unable to take her with them...so we have welcomed her to the Petrecue pack. She has lived with another dog and is friendly and playful with familiar dogs, but needs a little time when meeting new dogs. Uny is friendly, outgoing, and playful around strangers and visitors. She is energetic but finds cats a little too exciting, so no cats for this girl. Uny likes to be with her humans, and will choose to spend most of her time around them. Some of her favorite things are being outside, riding in the car and playng with her stuffed duck. She will flourish in a calm environment and a low traffic home.  Be sure to complete an application on line and continue to monitor our website for updates.
