Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Tony...

What a cutie pie. Tony was rescued from a difficult situation, and we are so glad he is now a member of the Petrescue pack.  He is friendly to all and loves to run and play with other dogs, and he enjoys a good game of fetch.  Tony is super sweet, and loves belly rubs, cuddling, and to be held. He is crate trained and potty trained when kept on a schedule.  Tony is a little guy and enjoys short walks. He has found that city living is not for him and is looking for a fairly quiet country environment. Small children are a little too exciting for Tony, but he is fine with older kids. Sounds like a perfect little canine package. Be sure to complete an application on line and monitor this site for updates.
