Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Casper...

Watch a video of Casper here. Casper is a little shy at first, but is sweet and friendly with people and other dogs.  He is playful with any size dog, and is enjoying the companionship of his canine foster buddies. Casper is very energetic and extremely affectionate. He loves sitting on his foster mom's lap and giving kisses! Casper is an active guy and will be a good companion for anyone who likes to run or walk long distances. He's curious and loves to explore, and is enjoying spending time on the patio in his current foster home. He is food motivated which is an advantage when it comes to training. He’s crate trained and sleeps through the night in a crate, and likes car trips too! Be sure to complete an application on line and continue to monitor our website for updates.
