Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Runt Runt...

Runt Runt is a sweet young puppy. She grew up in a rural shelter and is a little bit scared of the world. She is a quiet, gentle soul, with the most deep, expressive brown eyes. After just 2 days in her foster home, she has warmed up to her foster mom and dad, and is starting to come around to strangers too.  She is a quick learner and already comes when her name is called…and will follow her foster canine siblings when asked to “sit" or “stay". She absolutely loves other dogs, running and playing with them. She relaxes and enjoys being petted and loved, and will close her eyes and wag her tail in appreciation. Runt Runt will do well in a forever home with a friendly dog to show her the ropes.  Watch a video of her playing. Be sure to complete an application on line, and monitor this website for updates.
