Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Terrie...

Terrie is one of the newest members of the Petrescue pack, and she is taking her time getting used to her new surroundings. Once her foster Mom gained her trust, Terrie bonded quickly with her, and loves to be hugged, touched and carried by her. Terrie also loves to play with toys. She currently prefers pee pads but her foster Mom is working on training to go potty outside. Given her small size and quiet nature, Terrie is most suitable for a quiet household with older children...and with a human who can dedicate the time to build her confidence. She is waiting for a forever family who will recognize the super sweet girl she is, but needs a little coaxing. Be sure to complete an application on line and monitor our website for updates.
