Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Appa is a handsome energetic boy who loves a good game of tug of war...and also a cuddly dog who loves to curl up next to you (or on you!). We think he is a lab, pit, bulldog, foxhound mix. He can be anxious with strangers and protective of his home. Appa is fully house trained and leash trained and does very well on walks and runs. He loves the dog park and gets along well with other dogs. Appa is not a fan of the city and all the sounds that go with city living. Therefore he will do best in a home outside of the city with a yard, and would be well suited for a person or couple who don't travel much or have many visitors. Appa is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and in excellent health.
