Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Daisy Mae...

Daisy Mae is as sweet as they come.  Her foster mom says she loves being around all people and will curl up next to you for lots of pets and kisses. Although she has come very far with her bravery, she remains scared of loud noises and quick movements, and will do best in a house with older children and calm dogs.  Daisy Mae is the ultimate lap dog and loves to sleep the day away until someone she loves comes home...and she does a little tip toppy dance to greet them. Daisy Mae is a quiet girl and has only barked a few times. She is working on house breaking, but first is learning that the outside world is not a scary place.  Daisy Mae will absolutely thrive in a quiet home where she will give you all her love.
