Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Hurley...

Hurley is a great medium sized dog who is both athletic and affectionate.  He loves tennis balls and is skilled at retrieving them.  Hurley also loves hikes and is very well behaved in trail environments.  He likes to snuggle up on the couch, and is also curious and excited when new people come around  He is fully house trained and great with all adults and grown children.  He is protective of his owner during walks when coming across other dogs.  He gets along with some dogs... but is picky.  Hurley is very food motivated, and with treats, is quick to learn new tricks.  Unfortunately Hurley is not comfortable around small children, puppies or cats and wants to be your one and only 4 footed friend.
